Cookie policy
Effective Date: February 3, 2026
I believe in a “clean” internet experience. Most websites use tracking cookies to follow you around, build a profile of your interests, and show you targeted ads. I don’t do that.
Do I use cookies?
Yes, but only the bare minimum. This site uses only strictly necessary (functional) cookies. These are essential for the website to load properly, stay secure, and function.
- I do not use any marketing cookies.
- I do not use any tracking cookies.
- I do not use any advertising cookies.
Why is there no cookie banner?
Under laws like the GDPR and PECR, a consent banner is only required if a website uses non-essential cookies (like those from Google Analytics or Facebook) to track users.
Because I use Plausible Analytics, which is a 100% cookie-less solution. As I don’t use any other tracking tools, I am not legally required to interrupt your browsing with a “consent” pop-up. You are private by default here.
Third-party cookies (The “exit” warning)
While my site is cookie-minimalist, the services I link to are not. You should be aware of two specific scenarios:
- Affiliate Links (Casinos): When you click an affiliate link to a crypto casino or third-party service, that site will use cookies. These are used to track that you came from my site so I can earn a commission, and to manage your account on their platform.
- Embeds (Reddit/YouTube): If I embed a live Reddit comment or a video, that third-party platform may drop cookies the moment the content loads or is clicked. To protect you, I prefer using screenshots instead of live embeds whenever possible.
How to control cookies
Even though I don’t use tracking cookies, you might want to clear your browser’s data anyway. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
